I use twin Pressed Steel 120s and 12# of ditchable weight when diving in a wetsuit. When full, PST 120s are -3.8# and neutral when empty. In the event of a b.c. failure, I would have no problem ascending after ditching my lead. Without an ascent line though, I may have trouble slowing my ascent as I near the surface if I had ditched all twelve pounds. I keep six pounds in each of two ditchable weight pockets.
