changed much and if i remember correctly, the further
west you dive the frontside of the island, the
better the scenery (ie, the west-end of catalina).
there are some nice spots, but i don't have my
logbook in front of me right now and can't rattle
them off to you.
if you have some time, i would suggest you also
check out san diego (wreck alley, if you're into
that, the 'tower', and the kelp forests there).
there are also the other channel isles which the
locals prefer better than catalina (san miguel,
santa cruz/anacapa, santa barbara, san nicholas,
san clemente, etc).
