You are exactly right. I was expecting all kinds of in-coming from my solo dive on air plan. But so far all I have got is very civil answers from very bright and knowledgable divers. Alas!
To answer your query about the whys and wherefores, I did state a mission objective as follows: "This is my favorite dive site, and I want to explore more of it."
A beautiful dive site is like a beautiful woman. Human nature makes you want to explore it more and more, every square inch, from her cute toes to her beautiful nose, and everywhere in between!
