Okay, for a more thoughtful response to each one the supposed exceptions to the never hold your breath rule:

when photographing (you have to be perfectly still): you’re kidding, right? I hope you are. The ocean is in control, not the diver.

when hunting (re-breathers are actually better for this): I think you are confusing recreational diving for the military. If you are young and in good shape I think you might enjoy the challenge of military life.

when skip breathing (better be careful though): God forbid some inexperienced diver takes you serious.
