Max, please type [joke] next to your jokes from now on. Some of us (like me) who are still narked for several days from our last deep dives might not otherwise be able to tell the difference! When I dive, I carry two of everything and sometimes 3. My wetsuit is my backup for my B/C. If I drop my weights above 65' my wetsuit acts as a fully inflated B/C for all intents and purposes. I just have to watch out for japanese fishing trawlers on the surface as I E.B.A. Drysuits act as a backup B/C at depths greater than 65'. Proper choice of equipment and backup is appropriate for any dive, recreational, TEK, or cave. "Know thy gear" ... a variant of the Delphic inscription of wisdom.
