R Baer the other thing I would add to Walker's post is that the tech diving ( ie; dives requiring deco stops) are the exception out here rather than the rule. There is only a very small handful of diver's out here that do that kind of diving.
I go back and forth to Florida very often, I think I had 7 trips in the last 12 months, and it is my experience that the two markets are polar opposite. In Florida just about every dives Nitrox and at some level does some deco diving, whereas out here very few even use Nitrox much less do deco diving.
Those of us that do use a couple of the six packs ( ie; Salty V or the Second Stage and if we get enough, which is very hard, we'll use the Great Escape).. A few will do some deco diving out of Scripps, but by in large deco diving is a foriegn concept out here..
