Hello all. Two of us from Chicago are interested in seeing the squid mating. There is a 4 diver minimum. This will be a great opportunity to see this incredible event.
I am an instructor with about 1200 dives. My husband and I own Scuba Systems, a PADI 5* dive center in Skokie, Illinois (a suburb of Chicago). The other person is a divemaster with nearly 500 dives.
The squid diving will be with Catalina Scuba Luv on Sat. & Sun. March 4 & 5. Each two-tank dive is $95.00. We will be going out at 7:00pm and returning between 10pm and midnight.
I have set up a package which includes the following: Catalina Express ferry transfers from the mainland, 3 nights of standard accommodations at the Hermosa Hotel (Fri-Mon), gear transport from hotel to dive boat, a 3-tank dive Saturday at 10am, 2-tank squid nite dives on Saturday and Sunday,and a 2-tank dive on Sunday.
Pricing for the above package is $525 double occupancy/$595 for single
occupancy.
