Thanks for the concern! If I take the gun, it will only be in the forest, and with an my friend (dive instructor) for an advanced underwater hunter class. I did an UW hunter class at Ship Rock 3 weekends ago (after bug hunting the outer Bird Rock wall the night before). You're right . . . it's a lot to think about. I wouldn't advocate most people jumping into hunting with 30 dives. I think I'm special though! I've been snorkeling/freediving for 30 years (swam competitively, played water polo, etc.) . . . only scuba for 2. I'm very comfortable in the water . . . and very careful diving (oh yeah, . . and I'm intelligent). Beyond the concerns articulated by Chris (thanks again!), does anyone have any advice/suggestions . . . particularly about how to get the most out of a Yukon experience?
