Gerry, I'll admit and be honest with you I didn't realize that at a depth of 99' that when you took a full breath your lungs expanded to the size they are on the surface. I pulled my Naui book p. 85 it shows boyles law and a lift bag with 4ft.3 being pulled down to 4atms and compressing to 1ft.3. I have had that image in my head thinking my lungs aren't full size at depth. So if I have 6 liter lungs and I freedive to 99' then they compress to 1.5 liters but if I'm scuba diving and I fill my 6 liter lungs at 99' 4atms they really have 24 liters in them if I ascended to the surface without exhaling? If I'm able to fill my lungs to capacity at any depth then shouldn't any 10' rise be relative?
