The problem with all these theoretical discussions, especially in this area, is that if they're not understood to be theoretical, and some goes out and tries it in the water, and is wrong, a serious life-threatening injury can occur.
That is my point exactly when we have these *theoretical* discussion about the benefits of solo diving, the *dangers* of Nitrox, etc. etc..
Most don't take away the entire message they only take away what they want to hear, ie; it's OK to solo, Nitrox is bad for you etc. etc...
