The wetsuit buoyancy is pretty accurate. My Kettenhoffen is six yrs old and needs replacing. The 10 percent is an assumption (read educated guess) but if the correct percentage were zero(ignores the obvious) or 20 (too high IMO) the result would vary less than the varience caused by adding a dive light. Yes I have 20 pounds to drop because I keep as much of my weight ditchable as possible. The numbers seem reasonable to me and if not perfectly accurate, are at least a good place to start.
