My source of information is the people who dictated
that we have to pay for airbags - the NHTSA. The same
dumbasses that tried to make a safe motorcycle in the 70s.
Thing was unstable, and quickly hidden away.
Virtually all of the positives of mandatory air bags
go to the fools who don't buckle up. All the negatives
are born by those of us who know better.
Maybe you don't know that many 5', 110lb people. Quite
a few of my friends fit into that category. Because of
Joan, new cars are dangerous to them. It's a fucking
joke that airbags can't be depowered to a safe level, and
it's also a loss of safety to mandate kids be in the backseat,
out of reach and view.
