there is no reward for helping an annoyed woman. she wont even thank you afterwards. been there done that. but at least it would spare everyone on the boat the shame that somebody died and nobody on the boat did anything to help, and that nobody includes everybody on the boat.

i get nervous when our boats divemaster slings on tanks and dives alone to unfowl the boat anchor. but in this case i am usually loaded up with N2 and my surface interval requirements dont permit me to follow him to 75 or 100 feet to unfowl the anchor.

it would be different for a 10', 20', or 30' decomp stop, or a bounce dive to rescue a drowning, convulsing diver.

my 50 cents worth, on this.
