We are pleased to give the first (of many) progress reports on the Michael Kane $10K Challenge that's all part of our Chamber Day fundraising activities for the Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber.

Simply put, Michael (the accountant, not the actor - better known simply as "MHK" to many of you) is matching, dollar-for-dollar, the first $10,000 we raise. Although contributions of any size are welcome, we suggest a minimum of $100. Contributions can come from individuals, clubs, stores, boats, publications, etc., etc. If the company you work for has a matching grant program, that will also be appreciated. But bottom line is that Michael's willing to cough up the cash to insure the financial well-being of our Chamber and is challenging you to join him.

Donations can either be made by e-mail to ChamberDay@aol.com or by calling Reef Seekers Dive Co., the co-ordinating store, at 310/652-4990. Cash, check, or credit card will be just fine and dandy but please make a contribution.

Here's where we are as of today:

(Updated as of 3/5/00 1:05PM - last posted 3/5/00 1:15PM )
