One of the most important contributions that Mia made has not received the attention it deserves.
It was Mia's testamony that proved pivotal in the (much needed) closure of the abalone fishery south of San Francisco.
Her expertise will not be easy to replace. Her absence leaves a void that the diving community will not easily be able to fill.
The report on her accident was posted on this web page and was available for consideration by all.
In my humble opinion, I think it is time to let Mia rest, and show her husband some consideration by not repeatedly dissecting the events that lead to this tragic loss.
Mia is gone, but she will not be forgotten.
