my ISP is down, so I have trouble hearing.
What's your point?
I still don't know what his depth was. I hope it wasn't anywhere near where I would have to be to get that feeling of maximum depth or maybe he just doesn't have the experience to recognise narcosis paranoia. It's a real typical symptom that you learn to deal with if you go deep. It's not death looking you in the eye.
Look, a computer is an easy effective way for me to keep out of risk of decompression without distracting from my diving. After diving without one for 16 years, I found it to be a fantastic improvement over using the tables. In 14 years of using the computer, I never showed any sign of decompression problems (except my elbow...). Truth is, a computer is fantastic for my diving.
Enjoy the diving, seahunt
