I will be heading down to Catalina on Friday, and plan to dive in the park on Saturday. I will need to rent some stuff when I get there, tanks, weights, and a couple of suits for my two sons. Who has the best rental gear?? Does anyone know if there is any problem getting equipment on the weekend?? Do I need to reserve in advance?? Any Info would be helpful. Our hotel package includes a boat dive on Monday on one of the Neptune boats, I am not sure which one yet. Are these guys OK? Can anyone tell me anything about the tides and current in the park? Had to swim a half mile against a stiff current yesterday, because I misjudged a tide change. Don't want to do that again for a while. I have never been in the water down there, and am looking forward to it.
