There are some real nice luxury dive boats in warm water vacation areas that are unbelievably comfortable with private rooms and in room heads and showers all for around $200 a day. Is So. Cal. just the wrong place to support comfortable dive boats? Is the market too small? I would think people would would like a vacation that they didn't have to fly to and that there would be some people who would be willing to pay more for more comfort. I know I would. Anyway I get the feeling that dive boats have followed the fishing boat industry cramming as many people on a boat that you can to try to keep the price down. I personaly would pay more for a much less crowded boat and a private cabin and head for on over nighter. Am I alone? Has this tried and failed in the past?
