I, for one, HATE deep air diving. When I dove the TUNA CLIPPER (180 fsw) to qualify for Deep Air Certification with John Walker a few years ago there was no "rapture of the deep" sensation. I felt paranoia, tunnel vision, and the sensation of diving in thick syrup. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of there. I agree with DIR that the hard bottom for 79% Nitrogen should be no more than 100 fsw.
