although the Suunto DOES give you "ascent credit" it is not programmed to give you "deep stop" credit. Mike K. was right again about all these dive computers.

I played with the Suunto Vyper all evening yesterday. I am confident that it is 10% more conservative than the PADI tables and 25% to 50% more conservative than the Navy/NOAA tables.

So I am very happy with it.
