I'd prefer that Jim speak to the per CuFt numbers but my sense is that you are way high..

It doesn't cost that much.

I filled double PST 104's last week at Jim's shop with 18% 02 and 40% He and the cost for both tanks was just over $40..

As for analyzing the He content, that generally isn't done.. Recently they just put out a He analyzer but most don't use it, and it's probably a waste of money..

We either belnd our own gases or use a trust worthy shop, such as Jim and/or Wings ( up north) and the important component to worry about is the 02 content. Analyzing the 02 content takes about 30 seconds and you should never dive a tank unless you have the 02 analyzed personally..

We'll put the 02 content on the neck of the tank and very clearly marked MOD stickers. We'll also put the He psi on the neck so it doesn't make sense to anlyze the He because even if it's off a % or 2 it is somewhat immaterial...
