List,

Yesterday I saw the new Imax film referenced above at the Imax theatre in Los Angeles. The 50 minute film details the exploration of a dry cave in the Grand Canyon, an ice cave in Greenland(way cool), and divers in an underwater cave in the Yucatan area of Mexico.

For divers this film has rare footage of one of Mexico's most beautiful underwater caves named "Dos Ojos". Shown on Imax's huge screen, the underwater footage shot by Wes Skiles of Florida is incredible in detail. It is definitely worth seeing just for that footage alone, but the ice cave is exciting too.

On a side note: please ignore the inexcusable gear configuration and poor diving skills of the biologist/explorer as she removes her side-mounted doubles to push through a restriction while scraping her equipment on the fragile limestone walls and ceiling. She then silts-out the entire cave by dragging her gear and scraping her fins across the floor of this cave. Most definitely not DIR!
