i am not YET a tek diver [disclaimer]. 40% O2 is almost twice the 21% of air. that means you would be limiting your depth to say 110' max. nobody narks at 110' anyway.

you shouldnt need this much O2 in your mix. the HE which is practically insoluable in bodyfat (lipids) should work just fine to keep you from narking as long as you take the N2 out and keep the O2 low.
