You are essentially talking about mixing your own. That is fine. That is what most mix divers do anyway. What is strange is that you would buy it mixed by someone else when you already know how to mix it. It is much cheaper to mix your own.

If you are diving sites that require mix then they require the right mix. Does this sound like double talk? If you breath 2/3 of the tank and then top off with air, the HE percentage will be about 1/3 of the original percentage.
Strangness # 3...
This last thing is as much a reflection on me as it is on you. The question strikes me as odd because around here the boats don't have compressors. We always bring all our own gas so this question never would have occured to me.
