Thanks, it gives food for thought. I could see the temptation to dive dual steel with a ss plate and no ditchable weight. I've I dualed up some steel 72 at 23.5 lbs negative I could dive with 4-6 lbs wet. But I see your point, the bladder goes south I'm a little heavy. I reliable alternate lift backup system would be very temping way to dive. DIR's position on this is no way?
