You just confirmed my suspision tht the explorer hasn't changed much. They've been around for almost 2 years. There are many good boats here. Just next door, the Spectre is great. I'm going out friday, and that will be my 15th trip with them in the last two years. The Liberty and Peace, both also at Ventura Harbor are also very good boats. Although I haven't been on them, from what I hear, the Vision, The Truth and the Great Escape are great boats also. There are a lot of good boats around. The Lois Anne out of San Diego is good. a little small and croweded compared to the Spectre. I just got spoiled. I'm sure you;ll have a lot of suggestions on boats to take from this BBS. Have fun, there's lots of great diving here.
