This is not a fish tale nor an April Fools.
Yesterday Mike divemastered the Encore over to Catalina.
About 11:00 a.m. at Arrow Point they saw a 10 to 12 foot Great White Shark.
The shark came about two feet off of the boat and was up at the surface.
They could see the entire length of the shark.
It just swam by and checked them out.
There were 5 divers in the water at the time and everyone made it aboard safely.
There was also a free diver in the water who saw the shark and loaded his spear gun just in case the shark decided to attack.
Mike has always wanted to dive with Great Whites but after yesterday he has a new found respect for the creature and has had his fill of Great White
adventures.
This picture was sent by Dr. Kim, the president of the Korean Dive Club.
He had a digital camera and took this picture from the boat.
The shark is in the picture to see it you need to scroll down to about the middle and to the right at the bottom.
Happy Diving.
