Yeah, that snout sure looks like it could belong to a mako. To the best of my limited knowledge however, it's not exactly the best time of year for them though.
BTW Ken, when you're in Sulawesi this summer, try to get at least one day at Bangka Island. It's well worth it! Lots of soft corals, hydrocorals and just plain weird stuff that one doesn't see at Bunaken.
