I bought a used DUI CF200 dry suit on ebay.

Brand new these suits go for over 2000 bucks.
I paid 900 for this suit. I exchanged multiple emails
with the guy selling it. And everything seemed legit
so I bought it.

He happened to live in the same city as my parents so
I sent my dad up to meet the guy and give it a quick
inspection and trade cash for the item. That way
at least I wouldn't get screwed with never having the
thing show up.

I reasoned that as long as it didn't have any major holes
or anything it could be repaired. And even with
a few hundred bucks invested in repairs it would
still be a good deal.

As it turns out the suit was in great condition.
All zippers good, including the releif zipper, which
is a helpful addition.

The only thing I have add to fix is the exhaust valve,
which I replaced for 75 dollars because it leaked a little.

So overall, I am happy with my ebay purchases.

I think if you know what you want, understand the product, and
ask all the right questions you will be fine.

If you can find someone local to your area it's even
better so you can meet them and trade cash.

Also, MAKE SURE you check their feedback. Be very
careful if they have no feedback, and if they have
negative feedback avoid them like the plague.

I did a lot of research and I knew this was the brand
and model of suit I wanted. I knew the retail price.
I tried one on in the dive shop so I knew which size
I wanted.

And I got a good deal.
