I buy and sell on ebay constantley. I love it. If you know the product you are after well and find a seller who is honest and communicative you can find a good deal. It's easy to get caught up in a bidding war when you have been waiting for something. My best deal ever on Ebay was a Gates Guppy underwater housing for my vide camera. With extended back I got it for $320 brand new. Retail was over $800.
I have been skeptical about wetsuit purchase on ebay and I have decided to save my money for a custom since it is so important. BTW does the DIR group have a favorite wetsuit manufacturer or style?
I can see retailers of all goods hating ebay and loosing money because of it while individual manufacturers of things like custom spearguns loving it because it gives them a huge audience and minimal transaction costs/markup.
