What if it cant be improved upon? (looking to improve is always admirable, but there comes a point in time when ya gotta say "F-it, it dont get better then this")
Your saying that you have TWO regs plus an air2, correct? (I think we missed that)
As far as increasing bottom time and deco by 'borrowing' air in a non emergency, I really think sooner, rather then later, somebody is gonna collect and it may be a high price for an extra half hour under the swell.
If you need to 'borrow' air for deco, that is no longer a non-emergency situation, that is definatley a full blown code red in my book. Better pre-dive planning and the use of appropriate sized tanks for the dives you are making is really the ONLY solution here, it cant get better then that.
