We've very happy to announce the addition of the Sea Bass to the Chamber Day roster,

The boat, helmed by Jerry Lewis (the sea Captain, not the comedian), leaves from 22nd Street Landing (between the Cee Ray and Great Escape) and will accommodate 10 divers for our event. It's also going to win the speed record for the day, as it cruises at around 18 knots, getting over to Catalina in a little over an hour. So it's a perfect boat if anyone has a small group or has a time crunch. We'll schedule the boat to depart shortly after 7AM but they'll probably be back at the dock no later than 4PM and perhaps as early as 3PM.

Since the Sea Bass does not have a compressor, divers will need to bring two tanks (or get two dives out of one tank). Divers are also welcome to bring coolers on board for food &/or can pay Jerry $5 for a hamburger/chips/drink lunch served out of their galley. Like all the other Chamber Day boats, the Sea Bass will do two dives and will have a walking tour of the Chamber facilities at Little Fisherman's Cove.

Interested divers/shops/clubs can sign up for the Sea Bass by calling Reef Seekers Dive Co., the coordinating store for Chamber Day/Eve, at 310/652-4990.
