Thanks for getting involved and your wisdom along with other leaders like Ken and Jim can work together to help resolve the issues, IMO. I don't know how low the fishing stocks are but I do observe that is reefs are thin. Jim points out how it used to be.
I view commercial fisherman as the farmers of the sea, but I don't think that they are rotating the crops(fish stock) for the maximum yield. It seems like take everything today because they have bills to pay and families to feed, understandable. When everything is depleted will we blame the F&G??
The lobster take seems to be sustainable with the size limits and seasonal. I say seems but I don't know. How about the 197 species of fish that are suppose to be abundant????
