What Karl Shreeves knows about helium can be spelled out on a post-it....
Besides whatever he says today about helium you can be sure he'll reverse in a year or so once PADI starts bringning in the bucks from the RecTec certs...
Just remember a few years ago PADI was telling you how bad Nitrox was for you and now they are selling deep air certs to 165' using Nitrox to accelerate the offgasing... And if you had read their stuff a fews years ago Nitrox was Voodo gas..
Don't take Karl too seriously right now because he has a currently vested interest in getting people to stay on deep air using Nitrox to off gas...
