i had to take the deep air before they would let me take the intermediate trimix even though they could not give me any better reason than you need to know what it feels like to be narced!!!!!
as my safe end is 90'( i narc easily) it was a disaster and i still dont remember anything below 120.
they got the message and let me go right on to mix
which was great for me.
never did and never wanted to get a deep air cert.
to this day i do not understand going deep (below 130) on air.
as for deploying a srb, i agree with mike, dont do it until you are trained on it.
