Anacapa on Sunday, was at best an expansive 25 feet, with a few areas where it was only 8 feet max. Must be the oceanic rite of spring. On the plus side though, i looked at all the gunk that was making the water green and saw all sorts of larval critters from tiny pulsating sea-jellies, maybe a quarter of an inch across, to some weird larval crustaceans to swarms of tiny fish fry, that obviously couldn't have been more than a few days old. It was neat in its own way.
