No one has answered my question: why, in 1996, was Deep Air certification a requirement to get EANx mixes other than 32 or 36? You guys are going off on why deep air isn't given anymore. My question has nothing to do with deep air, per se. Again: why was it required by IANTD to qualify for EANx mixes other than 32/36?
I heartily agree that deep air sucks, despite my blue and white laminated Deep Air Diver card dated April 7, 1996, card #467, signed by John S. Walker for Nitrox Training. Excuse me, folks, but what does deep air have to do with Nitrox. NOTHING! So please, an answer to my original question. Thank you.
