As an IANTD instructor since 1998, I do not owe Mike an appology for correcting his stab at IANTD. Mike posted, "I have an IANTD deep air certification... It was a pre-requisitie to trimix". He did not say Advanced Deep Air or Technical Deep Air.
1998 was the last year Advanced Deep Air was offered, and even then, the prerequisites to IANTD Trimix Diver could be met one of three ways: Advanced Deep Air OR Intermediate Trimix Diver OR experience and 250 dives (at the instructor's discression).
Mike's post was about not changing with the times. IANTD has changed with the times (maybe not as much as Mike would like) and will continue to do so.
