I dive with twin Pressed Steel LP120s and a ss backplate. The B/P is -6lbs and the tanks are neutral at 500 psi. With a 6mm wetsuit and hooded vest, I need five pounds of ditchable weight. BTW, I have tried to ascend from depth without adding air to my wing and am able to do so. In the unlikely event of a bladder failue, I could make it to the surface slowly and safely without ditching a lot of weight and experiencing an out of control ascent. I also carry a lift bag in the pocket of my B/P that I could use as a backup buoyancy device. I don't feel the need to go back to aluminum tanks and heavy weightbelt.
