Besides that I do consider a snorkel inmportant for any dive that requires a long surface swim, especially in rouugh water, something common in CA, there is one thing I don't get. I've worn a snorkel on my mask for 30 years, love to go into thick kelp, day and night, and I never have had it hang up on much of anything. Why do people have trouble with that?
