Now before you get TOO excited about this you need to remember that, due to a scheduling conflict, the Encore will be doing a special version of Chamber Day on Monday, April 30. Everyone will do two dives somewhere along Catalina's frontside and then, around 2PM, will go into the Chamber dock for a walking tour of the Chamber facilities, including the chance to be pressurized in the Chamber to the mind-numbing depth of one foot.
The Encore will leave from Pierpoint Landing (Long Beach, right in front of the Aquarium of the Pacific) at 7AM and should return by 5:30PM.
All the Encore participants will also get the commemorative Chamber Day 2001 t-shirt, as well as raffle tickets (and the chance to buy more) to be eligible for the Wednesday raffle. In addition (and this will be the case on all the other boats as well), there will be an on-board raffle for some items such as lights, dry boxes, knives, etc.
As of Saturday afternoon, we were roughly half-full on the boat, so we've still got space to accommodate small groups as well as individuals. And there's certainly nothing that says you couldn't dive Monday on the Encore AND dive Wednesday on one of the other boats.
