I have been to Anchor Bay and it is fine. However there are a lot better spots. You are going to have to do better than that if you want to ferret out of some of our choice lobster spots in SoCal.
Besides you did not mention using a 9" guage or larger for sizing the abs underwater. This helps alot. And for anybody else following this you need to still have your 7" guage to comply with F&G.
