That data is straight from the multilingual manual that came with the gauge. It appears they did some testing of the accuracy of the gauge and came up with those deviation figures in those ranges. Note that deviation in the 581 to 1449 and 4351+ ranges is absent (That's the basis of my "testing" hypothesis). I'm using the term deviation to refer to the manufacturers' claim that the gauge is accurate to within the stated range. The scale on the face of the gauge has even gradations from 0 to 6000 psi at 100 psi intervals. If that's not clear I can email a picture of the gauge. Thanks! J
