i use the ScubaPro compact analog SPGs on all my tanks and ponies too

they are really nice specifically because they are compact. if you need to know your tank pressure to the gnats eyelash, a larger computer integrated SPG would probably be more appopo.

in most cases, you should be keeping a large enough reserve, that the inaccuracy of analog dial devices are not relevant anyway. the rule of thirds for penetration or deep diving, the rule of 500 psi for recreational diving, etc., all work well in consort with a compact analog SPG, in my opinion.
