The thing is that there are a lot of people seriously saying that you shouldn't use a snorkel. I always want to ask them if they do any beach diving or kelp diving.
I do know a lot of divers that have gone to carrying them in their goodybag though.
I just never noticed them. Though sometimes I can feel some drag from them, but only when I am pushing fast enough to feel everything to drag. I almost never catch it on things and as Tim said, I use it all the time.
Does anyone try to beach dive, kelp dive or long swim without scuba or a snorkel?
