I've got a pair of Mares Avanti Quatros. I picked them up used for $60 a year ago. I really like them. My biggest problem is not swimming too fast for my buddies. I often find myself using a modified frog kick with them to keep my pace down or just to prevent stirring up silt. They work well with the alternate kicking styles that I have tried.
