Ebay can be a good place to get gear. But ONLY if you
already know what you are looking for. Read the reviews
in Rodale's etc. before you decide to buy stuff.
The next thing is to make SURE you know what condition it's in.
Lot's of stuff on EBAY is brand new and at good prices. Even the used
stuff can be a good deal. I bought a DUI dry suit for 600 bucks. Even if
it needed to be sent in for all new seals and patching it would have been a good deal.
It didn't, though, and I use it to this day.
Also be sure to check a user's rating to make sure they have
lots of feedback. Never trust a new user.
