Whew!!!!! What a milestone to pass. Thanks to the generosity of Troy Bagwell, we have now passed $20,000 in the Michael Kane $10K Chamber Challenge.
Troy was around on Saturday evening dropping off some tanks for hydro and we got to discussing the Challenge. He mentioned that he'd probably be willing to kick in another $500 (he gave a thousand dollars previously). I mentioned that we were at $19,350 at that point. he thought about it for a moment, and said, "Put me down for another $650." (Which will probably make this the most expensive hydro on record.)
So thank you Troy, for getting us to $20,000.
Now the question is . . . how much higher can we go? Can we beat last year's total of almost $23,000. We've still got three days left to go and with YOUR help we can do it. This is a community effort and the nice thing about it is that it's not about what can you get out of it, but what can you give for the betterment of the entire community. So come on . . .
