The Greater Los Angeles Council of Divers (GLACD)will have the first of several Beach Dive Days on May 20th at Diver's Cove in Laguna Beach. We plan on being in the ocean by 8am to participate in International Dive-In Day. The purpose of Beach Dive Day is to provide a natural setting for beach divers to meet members of the new GLACD Beach Diving Committee and discuss issues and concerns peculiar to divers operating from the shore, be they scuba or free divers. So come out and dive beautiful Diver's Cove, look for the GLACD marker and sign up and be counted for the International Dive-In. And please introduce yourself to one of the committee members: Steve Herbert, Kevin Liu and Jim McMicken.
