I've made it a pretty good practice to not go deep just for the sake of going deep. While I have done farnsworth at 300'+, in all candor there isn't much to see at that depth that you can't see in the recreational range...
Generally I go deep for wrecks, but that is not an absolute. For example, we don't get out to the Matterhorn often so there is some sense of exploration. Farnsworth was the same type of thing, but generally what happens is you may be mixed for a wreck, or the Matterhorn, and that site gets blown out so you change plans based upon conditions...
